The RouterBOARD 200 series routers offer professional solution to the growing needs for more capacity and an easy management of enterprises’ networks. The routers provide cost-effective, high-performance and secure service for connecting and setting up multiple LAN architectures. The RouterBOARD 200 can be used to set up variable communication structures, e.g., use it for routing between VLANs or for creating high-speed intranets connections. The RouterBOARD ensures stable performance during peak traffic periods to provide a high-speed link from a switch, hub, or server into a backbone network. The router supports policy-based routing and sophisticated data rate management; you can use it as a stateful firewall to ensure security of your network. In addition, the RouterBOARD performs HotSpot and VPN router functions and supports many popular tunnel standards like PPTP, L2TP and IPsec security protocol.
